Stacy Anguiano grew up in Spokane, Washington, and spent much of her time outdoors with friends and family. She played many sports growing up but by the time she got to high school decided that Tennis was her favorite. She attended BYU-Idaho and after changing her major 3 times, she chose to serve a church mission. She spent a year and a half in Costa Rica learning the language and loving the culture. After returning home, she decided to study Spanish and she graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Education. While completing her student teaching and after graduation, she worked as a Spanish Immersion teacher in Rigby teaching Spanish Honors, as well as Social Studies.

Mrs. Anguiano and her husband recently bought a house in Ammon and love to do home improvement projects. They spend their free time outside with their big dog Chancho and love exploring new restaurants and stores. She loves cooking and is always on the hunt for a new recipe to try. She is an avid reader and loves every moment in the sun.

Mrs. Anguiano is so excited to be a part of the Alturas community and to help her students communicate in Spanish as well as better understand History.
